Responsibilities
- Work independently within their area of responsibility while developing leadership skills.
- Interact periodically with all levels of management.
- Develop leadership skills by participating in or leading projects within the Revenue Management department.
Requirements
- Five or more years of progressive, successful experience in health care reimbursement.
- At least two years direct preparation of the Medicare cost report working papers and filing of the reports via HFS software program (or equivalent).
- Experience in several areas such as Medicare bad debts, DSH (Disproportionate Share), Graduate Medical Education and IRIS software, Allied Health reporting and reimbursement, Waged index and Occupational Mix surveys.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Accepts an unrelated Bachelor’s degree with five years professional-level reimbursement/revenue cycle experience.
