About the role

This position is a supervisory position within the OU College of Nursing, Case Management Department. Supervising case managers in home and community-based programs. Must be able to work independently, have outstanding critical thinking skills, and be able to communicate effectively and clearly. Delegation of duties, and attention to detail when reviewing care plans and service plan lines. Hold direct reports accountable for productivity expectations, passing audit scores, flexibility in scheduling, and be a team player.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 24 months professional level (RN) nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • One year paid experience as an ADvantage case manager
  • One year paid experience as a manager of personnel
  • Management experience including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, commendation and/or disciplinary action and termination proceedings
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve issues using critical thinking and appropriate decision-making
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and recommend process or quality improvements
  • Ability to work independently while exercising discretion, confidentiality, and professional judgment, and seeking guidance as appropriate
  • Excellent Communication and Collaborative Leadership Skills
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Work effectively with interdisciplinary partners
  • Contribute to department and organization-wide initiatives
