About the role

Responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Oversee project timelines and ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts for new and existing projects
• Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
• Work closely with designers to integrate visual elements into functional applications
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively
• Participate in regular stand-ups and retrospectives with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading software development teams
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL)
• Experience with front-end web technologies (e.g., React, Angular)
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
