Pay

Competitive hourly wage: $35‑$50. Sign‑on bonus up to $7,500.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently and accurately.
• Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical/mechanical control devices.
• Perform general repair work on air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Provide preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders promptly for departmental support.
• Pick up, deliver, and install display cases.
• Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school (preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets (strong plus).
• Familiarity with single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lb unassisted and sit/stand for several hours.
