About the role
We are looking for a talented Senior Recruiter to join our team in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and secure top talent for critical manufacturing operations.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies that build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
- Partner closely with business leaders and HR teams to align hiring plans with workforce strategy and organizational goals.
- Drive efficient, compliant selection processes that deliver timely and effective hiring outcomes.
- Enhance the candidate experience through proactive communication and strong representation of the Cummins employment value proposition.
- Utilize recruiting metrics and data insights to identify trends, improve performance, and support informed talent decisions.
- Influence stakeholders and hiring teams through expert consultation, market insights, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen recruiting processes, operational effectiveness, and talent outcomes.
- Support full-cycle recruiting for the EBU manufacturing plant, partnering closely with leaders and HR to execute workforce and talent acquisition strategies.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems and recruitment reporting tools to manage candidate pipelines, maintain data integrity, and provide actionable insights.
- Apply expertise in candidate assessment, selection methodologies, and external talent sourcing to attract and engage high-caliber talent.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, balancing multiple priorities while delivering responsive, customer-focused recruiting support.
- Utilize data analytics and recruitment performance indicators to identify opportunities, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to employment branding initiatives that strengthen market visibility and enhance the organization's ability to attract talent.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment by building strong partnerships, exercising sound decision-making, and effectively influencing hiring outcomes.
- Travel periodically to recruiting events and talent attraction activities as business needs require.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead full-cycle recruitment initiatives, balancing business priorities while delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.
- Strong consulting, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence leaders, collaborate across functions, and navigate complex hiring needs.
- Proven capability to develop sourcing strategies, assess talent objectively, and drive high-quality hiring decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage recruitment data, metrics, and insights to improve outcomes and support business decisions.
- Action-oriented approach with strong judgment, adaptability, customer focus, and appreciation for diverse perspectives and inclusive talent practices.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Preferred experience supporting recruiting initiatives within manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments.
