A sophisticated commercial real estate practice is seeking a Senior Real Estate Associate to join its Fort Lauderdale team. Responsibilities
- Acquisitions and dispositions
- Commercial real estate financing
- Leasing transactions
- Drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents
- Managing significant components of transactions from initial structuring through closing
- Coordinating with clients, counterparties, lenders, and other advisers
- Providing practical advice on the commercial and legal issues arising throughout transactions
Requirements
Candidates should have 5–8 years of substantive commercial real estate experience, including significant experience with dispositions, financing, and leasing. Applicants should possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to manage sophisticated transactions with a high degree of independence.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a JD and previous experience working in a law firm. Strong academic credentials are required, together with active membership in The Florida Bar.
