Senior React Native Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced React developer to support our digital product teams and provide technical leadership and mentoring to our current web development team. The role involves developing new customer‑facing product capabilities and components, as well as supporting Marvin’s partner experience environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new, engaging customer‑facing components and applications.
• Lead code and design reviews to maintain and improve code quality.
• Work closely with product management and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor less‑experienced team members.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and update project dependencies and resolve conflicts.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other developers/engineers to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and composable front‑end architecture.
• Integrate frontend React components with various backend REST APIs.
• Maintain existing React components, including bug fixes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience building web applications with React.
• Experience developing React applications with TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of fundamental React concepts and principles, including functional components, hooks, and the Context API.
• Experience with Git and common branching strategies.
• Experience working with UX design or UX designers (preferred).
• Experience working with digital product teams in an agile environment (preferred).
• Experience building interactive 3D web experiences using WebGL and related frameworks such as Three.js or Babylon.js.
• Experience developing cross‑platform mobile applications using Ionic Capacitor with React and TypeScript.

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually.
