About the role

We’re looking for a senior, hands-on React Native Engineer to build and maintain high-impact mobile flows within the Client application. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner closely with native iOS and Android engineering chapters to deliver seamless, production-ready experiences and help shape the transition from native to hybrid mobile development where it makes the most sense. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-sufficient engineer who thrives in complex environments, takes ownership, and enjoys turning polished designs into intuitive mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and ship production-grade React Native features within the Client mobile application.
  • Partner with native iOS and Android teams across multiple engineering chapters to identify candidate flows for React Native implementation.
  • Help manage and support the transition of selected mobile experiences from native to hybrid architecture.
  • Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, performant, production-ready user interfaces.
  • Collaborate across engineering and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality mobile experiences aligned to business goals.
  • Operate as a senior individual contributor with minimal oversight in a high-visibility client program.
  • Drive clean code practices, scalable component design, and maintainable mobile architecture.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the React Native stack and work effectively within a broader native mobile ecosystem.
  • Contribute to delivery acceleration by leveraging approved in-house coding agents and engineering tools where appropriate.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in React Native.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Git Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
  • Senior-level, hands-on experience building and shipping React Native applications in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, development lifecycle, testing, release management, and production support.
  • Experience working closely with native iOS and Android teams in shared mobile environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own features and deliver with minimal direction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Must be based in the U.S. and able to work onshore in a time zone that overlaps with the core team.

Qualifications

  • Experience shipping hybrid native/React Native applications strongly preferred.
  • Experience converting native iOS or Android features into React Native solutions preferred.
  • Telecom industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with reading and implementing from Figma designs is a plus.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $92,250 to $118,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Comprehensive employee assistance program.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Paid learning days.
