Senior React js Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications in a hybrid role based in San Leandro, CA. The hiring process includes an in-person interview and a coding test.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior React.js Developer capable of owning frontend development from design through deployment. You should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent JavaScript/React fundamentals, experience building enterprise-grade applications, and the ability to mentor other developers while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components and frontend frameworks.
• Develop applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Implement state management using Redux, Context API, or equivalent technologies.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional web applications.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for frontend applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI, performance, and production issues.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, QA teams, architects, product owners, and designers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Experience building reusable React components and frontend architectures.
• Strong experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management frameworks.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6+ concepts.
• Experience with React Hooks and modern React development patterns.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control workflows.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and browser compatibility.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Experience with Next.js.

• Experience developing applications using microservices architectures.
