Senior RAD Developer

About the role

As a Senior RAD Developer, you will work closely with various Equity Derivatives Trading, Structuring, Sales, and Market Risk desks to develop software using enterprise technology stacks, delivering a direct impact on P&L. You will support the effective retirement of legacy solutions while building next-generation platforms that enhance the group's offerings and enable rapid response to emerging and evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve software solutions utilizing various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
• Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functionally collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements

• Significant experience with any of C++, Java, C# enterprise-level development
• TDD, Test-Driven Development experience
• Ample experience with Python development
• Knowledge of Excel VBA and interfacing with DLLs
• Ample experience with SQL DDL, DML
• Significant interest and ability to troubleshoot enterprise large distributed systems

Pay

Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
