Senior Quality Technician
Under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager, the senior Quality Technician plays a pivotal role in the Quality team, contributing to tasks related to the ISO 9001 certified aspects of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Engage in frequent and direct interaction with customers and suppliers.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive level.
- Support the Quality team in producing quality results using planning, monitoring, measurement, analysis, and improvement methodologies.
- Participate in and support the implementation of ISO 9001 certified processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance.
- Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Strong technical writing capabilities.
- Knowledge of quality audits and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Degree in an engineering-related field.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering.
Work Environment
This role operates under the direction of the Director of Engineering and Quality Engineering. The organization boasts a cohesive core team, many of whom have been with the company for years, creating a supportive and stable work environment.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
