Senior Quality Inspector

About the role

Jet Avion Corporation, located at HEICO’s corporate headquarters in Hollywood, Florida, specializes in the supply of various platforms of aircraft and engine PMAs. Our products and capabilities range from cabin interiors to highly complex power plant and accessory parts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings to understand requirements.
• Perform inspection on aerospace products as described in written work instructions.
• Utilize standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, dial indicators, plug gages, etc.
• Read, understand, and inspect supplier certifications and material test reports to determine conformance to requirements.
• Utilize computer technology systems such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ERP systems, and QMS software such as Tip QA to complete and store applicable inspection records and documentation.
• Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical inspections on parts and assemblies.
• Perform complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources.
• May perform document review to ensure material traceability and product compliance.
• Follow general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test, and functional inspections on a wide variety of components/assemblies.
• Perform other related duties as required.
