Senior Quality Inspector

Position Details

Beckwood, headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Inspector to join their team. The Senior Quality Inspector ensures that all products manufactured meet the company's quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and in-process inspections of machined and fabricated components using tools such as micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, and thread gauges.
• Utilize FaroArm and other tools to complete necessary measurements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection criteria.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records per company procedures.
• Document and report all non-conforming parts (NCR).
• Collaborate with Procurement to support supplier quality initiatives and implement a vendor inspection program.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to work toward investigating root cause issues and corresponding corrective actions.
• Maintain open lines of communication with production team to prioritize critical components.
• Absorb and interpret engineering drawings following GD&T principles.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
