We need to produce HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually the posting includes "About Helix Linear" and "About the Position". The instruction: use . The text includes paragraphs with multiple sentences; we can break into list items per responsibility area. Might be okay to have each major bullet as with the paragraph.
Requirements/Qualifications: combine Who You Are (traits) and What You Bring (experience, education, skills). Could be two sections: Requirements and Qualifications. But we can combine into one Requirements section with list.
Skills: maybe separate Skills section for technical skills like GD&T, CMM, vision system, AS9100, etc. But we can include within Qualifications.
Better to follow instruction: use headings for Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We'll include those that have content.
We have content for Responsibilities, Requirements (experience/education), Qualifications (maybe same as Requirements), Skills (specific technical skills), Benefits, Schedule.
Let's parse:
Who You Are: traits (detail-oriented, problem-solver, comfortable on floor, strong work ethic, self-directed, curious, collaborative). That's more like personal attributes; could be Requirements or Qualifications.
What You Bring: 8-10+ years experience, BS Mech Eng preferred, GD&T fluency, hands-on Gauge R&R, MRB/DMR, hands-on CMM/vision, strong AS9100 fluency, proficient in inspection planning tools (InspectionXpert, SolidWorks, Excel), clear communicator, ASQ CQE/CQA preferred, AS9100 Lead Auditor Training strongly preferred, Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, analytical toolkit beyond inspection: FMEA, DOE, PPAP; CNC machining familiarity a plus.
That's skills and qualifications.
We can create:
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. So we need headings like About the role (maybe "About the Position" qualifies). Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have content for About the role (the "About the Position" paragraph). Responsibilities: there is a "Core Responsibilities" section with subsections: Customer and Corrective Action, Inspection & NPI, Systems & Continuous Improvement, Leadership & Audit Readiness. We can combine into a list under Responsibilities. Requirements/Qualifications: there is "Who You Are" (traits) and "What You Bring" (experience, education, skills). Also "What Success Looks Like" maybe not needed. Benefits: there is "Why Join Helix" includes compensation, benefits, retirement plans, PTO, major holidays off, steady daytime hours. Also "competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, retirement plans, PTO, and major holidays off, along with steady daytime hours." So we can create Benefits section with that content. Pay: not specified explicitly; only "competitive compensation". That's vague; we should not create Pay section unless posting actually states them. It says "competitive compensation" but not specific numbers. The instruction: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "competitive compensation" is vague but still states compensation exists. However they said avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". "competitive compensation" might be considered vague but still a statement. Safer to not create Pay section because it's not specific. Schedule: they mention "steady daytime hours". That's a schedule detail. So we could include Schedule section with that. Benefits: we have benefits described. So we can include Benefits section. We need to avoid boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, scam warning, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. We need to preserve all substantive information. Let's extract. About Helix Linear: description of company. Could be part of About the role? Probably we can include as part of About the role (company overview). The instruction: About the role heading for section headings. So we can put About the role (or About the Position) and include both company description and position overview. Responsibilities: list items from Core Responsibilities. We'll need to convert each bullet into
About the role
with paragraphs: company description and position overview.Responsibilities
with- ... each major area.
Requirements
maybe for experience/education.Qualifications
maybe for skills/certifications. But we might duplicate. Better to follow typical pattern: Requirements (experience, education), Qualifications (skills, certifications). Let's do that.Skills
maybe for specific technical skills like GD&T, CMM, vision system, AS9100, InspectionXpert, SolidWorks, Excel, SPC, Minitab, FMEA, DOE, PPAP, CNC machining. But we already have many in Qualifications. Could combine. Given instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we combine Requirements and Qualifications into one section? But they ask to use headings for those categories if content exists. We can include both but ensure they are substantive. Let's decide: - About the role - Responsibilities - Requirements (experience + education) - Qualifications (skills, certifications, tools) - Benefits - Schedule We'll omit Pay. Now extract content. About the role: combine Helix Linear description and About the Position paragraph. Helix Linear Technologies designs and manufactures high-precision motion control systems for industries where performance matters most, including medical devices, advanced automation, aerospace and defense. Our products power mission-critical applications where reliability and precision down to ±0.0001 inches make all the difference. Our vision is to engineer what’s possible in motion, with precision, integrity, and purpose. We pursue that vision by designing, machining, grinding, and assembling critical motion components in-house, including precision ball screws and linear systems. Our clean, climate-controlled facility is equipped with advanced manufacturing equipment including Citizen Swiss lathes, multi-axis CNC mills, precision grinders, and specialized assembly and test systems. Helix is growing and investing in new equipment, advanced processes, its people, and the systems required to scale with discipline. As we expand, we’re building a world-class precision manufacturing operation, which means higher standards for ownership, communication, urgency, and accountability across every role on the floor. At Helix, we value ownership, technical excellence, and a growth mindset. If you’re motivated by meaningful work at the intersection of engineering, innovation, and manufacturing, and want to grow with a company shaping the future of motion control, we’d love to meet you. About the Position: We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to own inspection, nonconformance resolution, and customer-facing quality issues across our product lines; lead screws, ball screws, linear actuators, custom assemblies, and precision components for medical device, aerospace, and defense customers. This is a senior, high-trust role built with succession in mind, ideal for an experienced quality professional ready to grow into broader quality leadership at Helix. This role is the technical owner of what happens when something goes wrong: a part doesn't conform, a customer calls, an FAI needs to pass the first time. You'll be the calm, credible voice in those moments, and the person building the systems that prevent them from repeating. We'll combine into a couple paragraphs. Responsibilities: list items: - Customer and Corrective Action: Own MRB and DMR dispositions for non-conforming material, and carry that discipline through to a clean RMA process; Represent quality on customer calls, including the hard ones, from non-conformance notification through resolution; Support customer audits with substantive documentation and clear technical responses. - Inspection & NPI: Own the inspection strategy and plans across product lines: what gets measured, at what stage, to what standard; Apply GD&T daily in inspection planning, tolerance stack analysis, and FAI review; Run Gauge R&R studies to validate measurement systems and gauge capability; Lead AS9102 FAIs, coordinating documentation, execution, and customer acceptance; Use CMM, vision system, and SPC data to identify process trends and catch issues before they escape; Support NPI with DFM reviews, process validation, and capability studies. - Systems & Continuous Improvement: Support the quality management system in practice: control plans, work instructions, corrective action closure; Support AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance, including active participation in certification work; Conduct supplier audits and assessments; define incoming quality requirements and drive supplier corrective action; Manage gage selection, calibration, and operator training; Lead AS9100 internal audit planning and execution, driving certification and surveillance audit readiness; Mentor and develop quality engineers and inspectors, building bench strength and succession depth within the quality function. - Leadership & Audit Readiness: Serve as the site's subject-matter authority on AS9100, translating standard requirements into practical, shop-floor-ready systems; Lead internal audit program design and execution; coordinate directly with the registrar during certification and surveillance audits; Partner with the Quality Manager on succession planning, positioning to step into expanded quality leadership responsibilities over time. We'll make each bullet a - containing the sentences. Requirements: 8-10+ years in quality engineering or inspection in a precision or regulated manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ownership of a facility's quality systems; Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent hands-on quality/manufacturing experience will be considered. Qualifications: GD&T fluency, prior exposure is ideal, we'll train as needed; Hands-on Gauge R&R and MSA experience; MRB/DMR experience, with the ability to translate that discipline into a clean RMA process; Hands-on CMM and vision system experience; Strong AS9100 fluency required, with hands-on experience owning certification and surveillance audit cycles end-to-end; Proficient in inspection planning tools: InspectionXpert, SolidWorks, Excel; Clear communicator, equally effective with machinists on the floor and customers on a call; ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred, with an emphasis on AS9100; AS9100 Lead Auditor Training strongly preferred; Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, with a background in SPC analysis using Minitab; Analytical toolkit beyond inspection: FMEA, DOE, PPAP; CNC machining familiarity a plus. We could also include personal traits from Who You Are as part of Requirements or Qualifications. But we can add them to Requirements maybe as "Detail-oriented and technically grounded..." etc. However those are more like attributes. Could be part of Requirements. Let's add them to Requirements as bullet points. But we already have Requirements for experience/education. Might be better to have a separate "Attributes" but not in headings list. Since we have limited headings, we could incorporate them into Requirements. Thus Requirements bullets: 8-10+ years experience..., Bachelor's degree..., Detail-oriented..., Problem-solver..., Comfortable on floor..., Strong work ethic..., Self-directed..., Curious..., Collaborative. Qualifications bullets as above. Benefits: From Why Join Helix: competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, retirement plans, PTO, major holidays off, steady daytime hours. Also mention clean, climate-controlled facility with advanced equipment, alongside machinists, engineers, operators, commercial team members who take pride in work and hold themselves to high standards. Also "We engineer with purpose, take ownership of our work, and believe doing things the right way matters." That's more culture but could be part of About the role. Benefits section: we can list competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, retirement plans, PTO, major holidays off, steady daytime hours. Schedule: steady daytime
