About the role

Responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts and procedures to ensure software quality. Collaborates with development teams to identify and resolve defects. Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts and procedures using tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Identify and report defects in software applications.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that changes made to the system do not break existing functionality.
• Document test plans, procedures, and results.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and maintainability of code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/Test Automation.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Understanding of software security principles and practices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, etc.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL).
• Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
