About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with over 8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to achieve business outcomes. This role involves ensuring software meets all functional, non-functional, and compliance standards through rigorous testing and collaboration within an Agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual and automated test suites to validate software functionality.
• Implement and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and RestAssured.
• Condition and generate necessary test data for various testing scenarios.
• Lead test planning, create test cases, and manage traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Execute various test types, including Smoke, Integration, and Regression, and catalog test suites.
• Report issues and defects with clear, detailed background information and assist with defect triage.
• Manage test automation execution through CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and source control such as GitHub or BitBucket.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Core Java, and general automation principles.
• A Lean Agile Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API test automation using RestAssured.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, and BitBucket.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
