Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination, and production of high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and pursuit materials
- Manage proposal schedules, deliverables, and deadlines across multiple concurrent pursuits
- Collaborate with business development, operations, marketing, and executive teams to develop compelling win strategies and messaging
- Write, edit, and tailor proposal content to align with client requirements and project opportunities
- Capture and organize technical content, resumes, project profiles, and supporting documentation from internal stakeholders
- Ensure all proposal submissions are accurate, compliant, visually polished, and delivered on time
- Support interview preparation efforts, including presentation development, rehearsal coordination, and messaging strategy
- Maintain and improve proposal templates, pursuit databases, and marketing collateral
- Aid in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence gathering
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to proposal processes, branding, and pursuit strategy
- Support CRM management and business development tracking efforts as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of proposal coordination, pursuit management, or marketing experience within the construction, engineering, architecture, or professional services industry
- Strong experience managing complex RFP, RFQ, and interview processes
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign preferred
- Experience with CRM and proposal management platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting design-build, federal, or negotiated construction pursuits
- Familiarity with construction industry terminology and procurement processes
- APMP certification or related professional development is a plus
- Experience developing strategic messaging and interview coaching materials
- Ability to contribute to broader marketing and branding initiatives beyond proposal development
