Responsibilities

  • Aid the Director of Business Development in resource allocation, organization, and workload prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Client and Practice Leads, Contracts Management, and Marketing Specialists to organize data, develop presentations, and create compelling text for Statements of Qualifications, Request for Information (RFI), and Account Planning and Reporting.
  • Oversee the development of consistent messaging and delivery across Client Working Groups and Accounts.
  • Contribute to capturing lessons learned to enhance team responsiveness and win rates over time.
  • Support Deltek Capture Management with data entry and management, as well as associated reporting.
  • Participate in proposal development, including defining proposal structure, organizing writing outlines, and coordinating schedule for proposal completion.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractor teaming agreements and relationships.
  • Organize and track RFQ/RFP amendments within the proposal writing team.
  • Edit and refine proposal sections to ensure clarity and coherence.

Requirements

  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, especially with diverse technical staff and teaming partners.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaborative document development.
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, proofreading, and layout skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Deltek Capture Management.
  • Experience managing teams and providing constructive feedback.
  • Experience in strategic proposal management and production.
  • Understanding of DOD/federal government RFQ/RFPs in the architecture/engineering and environmental consulting services industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English/Communications/Journalism/Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience writing proposals in response to DOD/federal government RFQ/RFPs.
