Senior Purchasing Coordinator - Infusion Clinics
Job Description
Evaluates and processes high dollar Specialty product order requisitions from pharmacy network.
Keeps office apprised of product availability in the market.
Responsible for setting up new accounts with suppliers.
Develops and maintains relationship with suppliers.
Selects products and assists in determining the vendor from whom purchases will be made.
Ensures orders are accessing appropriate contract pricing.
Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
Monitors overstock levels of high dollar products across pharmacy network to optimize company-wide inventory positions on high dollar Central Specialty ordered products and minimize carrying costs.
Communicates order status, issues, disposition with field staff as necessary.
Directs intra-company transfers within the pharmacy network of high dollar Specialty products to manage company-wide inventory positions.
Manages inventory cycling of Central Specialty short dated products to minimize loss/waste.
Provides suppliers with updated license information to keep accounts active and eligible.
Supports pharmacy requests for credit/replacement requests with product breakage/mishandling.
Led buy-ins to fulfill contract rebate/incentives.
Leads Reverse Distribution (returns) practices for the purchasing team.
Tracks all credits/claims. Processes daily return credits.
Works with corporate accounting on financial tracking related to returns.
Updates intranet purchasing resources (OCHO) as needed with purchasing guidance.
Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary Option Care information.

Basic Education And/or Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or business role.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
- Licensed pharmacy technician with previous home healthcare experience.
Pay Range
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $20.47-$34.13
