Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results-oriented individual to serve as Statewide Child Welfare Employee Licensure Administrator. Responsibilities

• Serves as Statewide Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL) Administrator.
• Plans, directs, and administers the OLPD Child Welfare Employee Licensure Complaint process.
• Schedules, attends, and facilitates all Emergency Licensure Review Team and CWEL Board Meetings.
• Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff.
• Develops, implements, and monitors CWEL Program Best Practice Policies, Rules, and Procedures.
• Serves as a principal spokesperson for the CWEL Program before internal and external stakeholders and other governmental entities.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited law school and possession of a valid license to practice law in Illinois.
• Four years of administrative experience in the practice of law.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years' experience managing or administering a program or service in a private or public organization.
• 3 years' experience supervising professional staff who are responsible for administering a complex, highly regulated program.
• 4 years' experience in the development and implementation of rules, policies, and procedures.
• 4 years' professional experience in the oversight of a large program with multiple sites or teams of subordinate staff at different locations.

Pay

Anticipated starting salary: $10,500 to $12,500 monthly
