About the Role
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results-oriented individual to serve as Senior Public Service Administrator (Program Manager). The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and strong leadership and communication capabilities. Responsibilities
- Serves as Program Manager
- Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff
- Provides input into all statewide monitoring activities
- Consults with and advises community and regional advisory councils, committees, and private agencies on program needs, standards, and services
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) or master’s degree in a related human services field
- Four years of progressively administrative child welfare experience with an MSW OR five years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with a master’s degree in a related human services field
Pay
Anticipated starting salary: $11,000 to $13,000 monthly
