Senior Public Relations Manager
About the Role
Develop and implement media relations programs. Initiate and maintain relationships with national and local media and industry analysts. Develop, write and present story ideas to reporters and editors. Plan and manage participation in press tours, conferences and events. Coordinate speaking engagements. Work independently with executive leadership. Oversee large, critically impactful projects for the organization.
Requirements
- 7 years of public relations or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with the public relations field and awareness of media trends on a local and national level
- Flexible, efficient, and detail-oriented
