About the Role
The Department of State Hospitals-Napa is seeking a Senior Psychologist Specialist for its Forensic Services. This role involves completing forensic evaluations pursuant to PC 1370, PC 2972, and PC 1026.5, including the preparation of court reports and testimony when necessary. Expertise in forensic assessment, writing, testimony, violence risk assessment, and malingering assessment is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic evaluations under PC 1370, PC 2972, and PC 1026.5.
- Prepare court reports and provide testimony as needed.
- Perform violence risk assessments and malingering assessments.
Qualifications

Pay
$10,828.00 - $13,937.00 per month. New state employees will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
Schedule
Permanent, full-time position with hybrid telework options.
