Senior Proposal Writer

About the role

This role will own the end-to-end development of compliant, persuasive proposal content that supports RFx responses and helps the organization compete effectively in a fast-moving commercial environment. The Senior Proposal Writer will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape messaging, refine AI-assisted drafts, and maintain a high-quality content ecosystem that stays current, accurate, and aligned to business strategy. This position also plays a key role in strengthening proposal efficiency, enabling contributors, and adapting content for global opportunities with regional nuance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the full RFx lifecycle, ensuring compliant, high-quality proposals.
• Act as the authority on proposal content, validating and refining AI-generated drafts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align proposal content with current strategies.
• Ensure proposal messaging is coherent and brand-aligned.
• Evolve the proposal content ecosystem, maintaining current and trustworthy resources.
• Lead the adoption of AI tools for proposal generation and efficiency.
• Coach contributors on best practices in persuasive writing and proposal strategy.
• Adapt and localize content for global opportunities, considering regional nuances.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in proposal management, sales operations, marketing, or similar roles.
• 3+ years in SaaS or compliance industries.
• Experience in supply chain, contractor management, field service, or compliance preferred.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency with proposal content tools and generative AI technology; familiarity with Glean is a plus.
• APMP certification preferred, or willingness to pursue with company support.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $103,000 – $117,000 annually
