Senior Proposal Manager, Public Sector, US Strategic Pursuits

About the role

The Senior Proposal Manager for the Worldwide Public Sector team at AWS leads efforts to deliver game-changing solutions to U.S. National Security customers. The role involves working with capture and sales teams to develop winning proposals, including responses to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, oral presentations, and white papers.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively to identify and write content for RFx responses
• Craft compelling proposal narratives that synthesize content from SMEs and align with strategic objectives
• Own proposal content development for distinct RFx sections, from ideation to final review
• Independently gather, organize, and synthesize information from diverse AWS stakeholders
• Contribute to proposal solutioning and strategy development sessions, guiding content development with clarifying questions
• Curate, grow, and update the team library of approved content, maximizing reuse effectiveness and utility
• Review final proposal documents for editing and content completeness
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to the above responsibilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making
• 5+ years of experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
• Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology
• Bachelor's degree
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
• Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Skills

• Familiarity with US Government acquisition guidelines
• Experience supporting US federal pursuits
• Experience with federal RFx compliance requirements

Benefits

Base salary range: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually
