About the role
The Senior Property Manager oversees all community operations for a portfolio of 587 apartments in Lowell, MA. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in managing a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Operate within established financial guidelines and budget
- Maintain occupancy at reasonable levels
- Review and monitor delinquent accounts and take required action
- Respond to resident requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
- Supervise and coordinate all site management related issues
- Support staff to meet property standards and goals
- Exercise judgment and discretion in problem-solving
- Work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, creative, and detail-oriented
- Positive, innovative approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases
- Willingness to work early or late and/or evenings and weekends when necessary
- Available by phone, text & email and 24/7/365
Qualifications
- Driver's License (Required) & Reliable & insured vehicle
- Familiarity with housing management, budgeting, and housing regulations
- Professional at setting priorities and coping with competing demands
