Senior Property Manager

This position is an onsite role based out of our San Diego, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and develop the property management staff in the market consistently, ensuring thorough staff understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the property owner, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
• Educate and mentor your team to reach overall organizational goals.
• Expand the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients.
• Anticipate challenges and respond accordingly to effectively manage your day.
• Maintain existing clients while continually expanding the business base through regular contact with key clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience managing retail commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills along with high degree of professionalism and experience managing staff.
• Strong experience with real estate software such as YARDI, MRI, etc.
• Previous exposure with institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of financial reports, basic business fundamentals, including P&L management.
• California Real Estate License Required.

Qualifications

• Industry specific certification such as CPM and/or RPA preferred.
• Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short and long-term strategies.
• Demonstrate accountability with budget and capital expense.

Skills and Experience

• Experience with real estate software such as YARDI, MRI, etc.
