Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and facility management functions of a commercial property portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and ownership
- Respond to tenant requests and ensure a high level of customer service and tenant satisfaction
- Cook up and oversee maintenance activities, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and capital improvement projects
- Coordinate and conduct regular property inspections to ensure building appearance, safety, and operational standards are maintained
- Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and certificate of insurance (COI) compliance
- Prepare annual operating budgets, monitor expenses, and assist with financial forecasting
- Review, approve, and code invoices while maintaining accurate financial records
- Aid in collections, accounts receivable, and monthly financial reporting
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure efficient building operations
- Support leasing efforts through property tours and tenant move-in/move-out coordination
- Coordinate tenant engagement initiatives and property events as needed
- Ensure compliance with all property management policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial property management and/or facility management experience required
- Experience managing Class A office, mixed-use, or commercial assets preferred
- Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Yardi or other property management software preferred
- Knowledge of vendor management, contract administration, and COI compliance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience
- CPM, RPA, FMA, or related industry designation is a plus
