About the role
The Senior Property Manager at Avison Young is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of an assigned asset. Key responsibilities include financial oversight, tenant relationship management, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain assigned asset, ensuring timely collection of income and controlled expenses
- Build and maintain relationships with tenants to solve issues and improve tenant satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with lease terms and landlord obligations
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports to owners and asset managers
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for properties
- Coordinate tenant and customer relations and implement comprehensive communications strategy
- Manage personnel and establish manpower needs
- Maintain and improve property standards according to Avison Young and industry guidelines
- Assist in leasing and tenant improvement processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, or Finance
- California Real Estate Salesperson License
- Minimum of ten years related experience in urban retail and mixed-use portfolio management
- Strong understanding of financial terms and principles
- Ability to analyze and make complex financial and business decisions
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Proven record of providing excellent customer service
