Senior Property Claim Specialist

Overview

In the casualty department, you will manage injury and damage claims across personal and commercial auto, general liability, and other domains, ensuring exceptional service and support for clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze initial reports to assess the nature of loss, coverage, and scope of injury or damage in personal/commercial auto and general liability cases.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations, including fraud detection, and secure/verify supporting documentation.
• Manage first- and third-party injury claims related to No-Fault/Med Pay and liability exposures.
• Apply jurisdictional knowledge of regulations and case law for all managed territories.
• Negotiate liability and damages to achieve favorable outcomes for Chubb and clients.
• Monitor claims progress to ensure timely development and resolution.
• Collaborate with management by delivering presentations, conducting meetings, and serving as a technical resource.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in liability insurance claims adjusting, including litigation.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements, and regulations.
• Strong aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting contracts and complex information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjuster’s license (and additional state licensure if required).
