Responsibilities
- Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
- Project Management of staff and clients on large and/or complex projects
- Support Studio Leaders in managing staff and financials
- Providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff.
- Maintaining involvement in professional organizations to keep abreast of new industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering. Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
- P.E. license required; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
- 8-15 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
- Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).
- Working knowledge of REVIT.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $116,000-$140,000 annually for this position and local market.
