Responsibilities
- Manage multiple design consultants to complete detailed and permitted construction plans
- Understand the client's critical success factors during project startup and prepare an effective project management plan
- Administer projects in the project management system, including accurate project setup information
- Ensure all team members understand their roles, tasks, schedules, and budgets
- Be available to clarify issues for team members; consult with the principal in charge for guidance when uncertain
- Monitor project progress regarding scope, budget, schedule, and quality/performance during execution
- Conduct monthly project reviews with the client and/or principal in charge, seeking periodic guidance
- Provide project team leadership and be accountable for technical, financial, and schedule delivery excellence
- Deliver service to the client and manage client relations
- Be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the project from initiation through closeout
- Manage risk and implement proactive change management
- Ensure prompt invoicing and collection
- Develop innovative solutions to add value for clients and differentiate Ardurra from competitors
- Market to existing clients through project performance, expanding contract scopes, and identifying new opportunities
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple design consultants
- Proven experience in the design/construction of Civil Engineering Projects
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Relevant technical expertise
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (Florida) preferred
- At least ten (10) years of experience
