Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater
About the role
We are seeking a driven and curious client-focused Senior Project Manager to support our water/wastewater treatment and conveyance team in New England. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects as the Senior Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of projects with increasing degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning.
- Leading multidiscipline design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies.
- Support clients through the life of a project from studies, planning, design, compliance and permitting, construction as well as start-up.
- Aid other project managers on large, complex projects, including task management experience.
- Utilize your technical expertise, leading design efforts on projects as well as mentoring our early career professionals.
- Time in the field to conduct existing facility assessments and identify rehab needs as well as provide construction services including shop drawings, RFIs, change order preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (ME, NH, CT, RI, MA preferred)
- Extensive experience developing strong client relationships to market and deliver engineering design solutions that meet our Massachusetts municipal water client needs
- Senior level project management expertise on the design of complex water / wastewater treatment or conveyance projects for municipalities in Massachusetts
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems for water/wastewater projects and the ability to manage the development of contract documents for such projects working with a large project team.
- Strong technical background, including extensive knowledge of all project phases (including conceptual design, pre-design, detailed design, and construction administration)
- Strong understanding of current federal, state, and local wastewater regulations, design guidelines, and permit requirements to support project success.

- Ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Engineering
- Client-facing working relationship with MWRA
- PMP Certification

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
