Responsibilities
- Serve as project manager on large and complex projects with multi-discipline project teams
- Serve as Line Manager to recruit, develop, supervise, and retain junior staff
- Serve as project principal, supervising less experienced project managers on smaller less complex projects
- Supervise and direct preparation of planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects
- Supervise and direct preparation of plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities
- Supervise and direct construction engineering support services
- Lead the technical development of proposals
- Serve as account leader responsible for creating and growing relationships with one or more clients
Requirements
- Strong business acumen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar)
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (Colorado preferred)
- 10+ years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of water, and wastewater infrastructure projects for major utility client
- Strong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably including water or wastewater treatment plants
- 5+ years experience in managing multi-discipline project teams
- 5+ years experience in managing proposals for engineering projects
- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment managing and growing client relationships
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have:
- Strong business acumen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar)
