Senior Project Manager - Transportation/Traffic

Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand their Transportation Planning/Traffic practice in Memphis, TN!

Responsibilities

• Creates a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of the transportation engineering practice
• Aids in marketing and business development efforts with local municipal, state, and private clients
• Delivers a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, and/or ITS-related projects
• Serves existing clients and pursues new passions, leads, and clients
• Leads and grows a Transportation/Traffic practice
• Manages projects profitably, transitions work to qualified staff, and mentors staff
• Learns and acts as a positive leader and mentor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation planning, traffic engineering, and design, traffic operations, and/or ITS planning and design experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or AICP preferred
• Track record of successfully winning and delivering work in the local area
• Established relationships with local DOT, local agencies, and/or local municipalities
• Demonstrated ability to manage transportation projects profitably through agency specifications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills
• Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems
• Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
• Strong management and mentoring skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
