Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the design and construction of infrastructure projects for the Water/Wastewater practice.
- Support preparation of scopes of work and budgets.
- Conduct studies, prepare reports, and read/develop construction plans and specifications.
- Manage and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams and subconsultants.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop project scope, personnel, budgets, schedules.
- Manage other consultant teams and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EITSs, and technical staff.
- Support construction administration of projects and lead or assist permitting efforts.
- Manage design and plan production as well as manage clients and supervise technical staff through workshare opportunities with various practices and offices at Halff.
- Develop a network of municipal clients and teaming partners.
- Develop and manage project scope, personnel, budgets, schedules and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage other consultant teams and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EITSs, and technical staff that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas.
- Report on project progress and budgets.
- Work with the Water/Wastewater Team Leader and Operations Managers in business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent engineering degree (preferably in civil or environmental engineering).
- Professional Engineer License (PE) in the State of Arkansas.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Water/Wastewater treatment, Water Storage, Conveyance and Master Planning is preferred.
- Must be proficient with conducting studies, preparing reports, and reading/developing construction plans and specifications.
- Previous experience in coordinating project deliverables, managing project budgets and schedule, and identifying resolution of issues.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS PRO and InfoWater required (Water CAD or Sewer CAD is a plus but not required).
Qualifications
- Strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ArcGIS PRO and InfoWater.
