Senior Project Manager – Municipal Water/Wastewater (Client Lead, SAWS)
About the role
The successful candidate will serve as the client lead for San Antonio Water System (SAWS), responsible for pursuing and winning new work, mentoring staff, and driving the ongoing growth and profitability of the SAWS account. This is a client-focused seller-doer position requiring both business development and project management experience for municipal water/wastewater design services in the San Antonio area.
Responsibilities
- Network with clients to identify and define projects
- Develop and negotiate proposals
- Build teams of technical staff and subconsultants to execute work
- Maintain quality management processes to ensure work stays on track
- Deliver work according to scope, schedule, and budget
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering
- Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas
- 15+ years of experience in the field of water/wastewater engineering design
- 10+ years of experience project managing water/wastewater
- Municipal wastewater collection/treatment design engineering experience in STX
- Municipal wastewater collection/treatment client relationships in STX
- Demonstrated selling and proposal development success to local clients
- Demonstrated project management experience, including financial responsibility
- Strong passion to engage client organizations to identify and win new projects
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to convey technical presentations
- Ability to recruit, build, mentor, and foster an engineering team as a leader

Salary Range: $112,914 - $149,506 - $185,994
