Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical/ Data Center - Michels Underground Cable, Inc

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager at Michels Underground Cable, Inc., you will be responsible for managing a phase of a large complex project or multiple large-sized projects. This role is accountable for all aspects of a project's success, from the initial proposal/bidding process to meeting or exceeding client expectations and ensuring profitable completion, with a strong emphasis on safety performance. You will support data center and mission-critical projects, focusing on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of large complex projects or multiple large-sized projects.
• Oversee the initial proposal/bidding process, client expectations, and profitable project completion.
• Ensure safety performance is a top priority throughout all project phases.
• Support data center and mission-critical projects, including MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data centers.
• Proficiency with Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.).
• Valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
• Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite projects.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
