Duties & Responsibilities
- Purpose of Position: Supervise, coordinate and execute management of multiple departmental, large-scale and complex projects.
- Support collaborative development with various business teams and drive process improvements.
- Manage clinical projects and programs to meet organizational goals of time, cost, and quality standards.
- Execute all aspects of clinical project lifecycles including planning, scope definition, design, execution and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance in the development of administrative and operational processes, templates, procedures/protocols and other core documents.
- Manage clinical research projects and provide programmatic, clinical and project management oversight.
- Develop and review plans and specifications of assigned projects.
- Prepare and review project reports and metrics.
- Coordinate reviews among internal business teams, planning staff, local health care setting administrators.
- Ensure adequate funds are budgeted and funds are available before commitments are made.
- Analyze problems and critical situations, develop alternative solutions, and implement decisions.
- Evaluate funding status and additional requirements for all cost elements.
- Oversee the collection, compilation, and analysis of clinical program activity data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Clinical or related non-clinical disciplines; four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, management and execution of clinical projects and programs, one (1) year of which must have been directly managing multiple concurrent clinical projects and programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the disciplines listed in 1 above or a related discipline; six (6) years of progressively responsible experience as described in 1 above, three (3) years of which must have been directly managing multiple concurrent clinical projects and programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline listed in 1 above or in a related discipline; possession of a valid, professional certification listed below; five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as described in 1 above, two (2) years of which must have been directly managing multiple concurrent clinical projects and programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP). Program Management Professional (PgMP). Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Lean Six Sigma (LSS), green belt or above. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). SAFe Agilist (SA).
