About the role

The Senior Project Manager – Key Accounts leads the Project Management team and oversees strategic customer programs from concept to commercialization. The role involves leading, coaching, and developing a team of Project Managers, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers through performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Manage team workload, resource planning, project assignments, and customer priorities.
  • Lead strategic customer programs from concept through production, launch, installation, commercialization, and lifecycle support.
  • Cook up cross-functional activities between Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Sales.
  • Manage new product development initiatives, engineering changes, commercialization efforts, and customer implementation plans.
  • Facilitate customer meetings, executive reviews, and project planning sessions while communicating project status and risks.
  • Maintain project performance, customer satisfaction, budgets, timelines, and operational KPIs.
  • Support forecasting, pricing, costing, and planning activities in partnership with Finance and Operations.
  • Establish standardized project management methodologies, documentation, and best practices across the organization.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
  • Participate in customer presentations, new business opportunities, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive Project Management, Program Management, or Operations experience within manufacturing.
  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience managing professional employees.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional customer programs.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, product development, and commercialization.
  • Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams while building strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Periodic travel to customer locations and company facilities.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually
