About the role
The Senior Project Manager – Key Accounts leads the Project Management team and oversees strategic customer programs from concept to commercialization. The role involves leading, coaching, and developing a team of Project Managers, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting business growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers through performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
- Manage team workload, resource planning, project assignments, and customer priorities.
- Lead strategic customer programs from concept through production, launch, installation, commercialization, and lifecycle support.
- Cook up cross-functional activities between Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Sales.
- Manage new product development initiatives, engineering changes, commercialization efforts, and customer implementation plans.
- Facilitate customer meetings, executive reviews, and project planning sessions while communicating project status and risks.
- Maintain project performance, customer satisfaction, budgets, timelines, and operational KPIs.
- Support forecasting, pricing, costing, and planning activities in partnership with Finance and Operations.
- Establish standardized project management methodologies, documentation, and best practices across the organization.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
- Participate in customer presentations, new business opportunities, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field.
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive Project Management, Program Management, or Operations experience within manufacturing.
- Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience managing professional employees.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional customer programs.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, product development, and commercialization.
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated business acumen.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams while building strong internal and external partnerships.
- Periodic travel to customer locations and company facilities.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually
