Senior Project Manager (Integrated Water Management)

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in Tampa, FL and help shape impactful water solutions across the US East Region.

About the role

You will lead the delivery of complex projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions. You’ll drive technical excellence, manage project teams, and ensure seamless execution while delivering value to both existing and future clients in the water market.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence, manage project teams, and ensure seamless execution while delivering value to both existing and future clients in the water market.
• Partner with leadership to identify and pursue opportunities with local agencies and municipalities, strengthening GHD’s presence across Florida and the broader region.
• Leverage existing contracts to promote integrated water management strategies, build strong client relationships, and support business growth in areas such as stormwater management, asset management, and digital solutions, while representing GHD at key industry events and regional planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Environmental preferred)
• Professional Engineer license required
• 15 to 20 years of experience in water resources planning, modeling, and design of infrastructure and best management practices
• Experience in leading teams charged with the development, calibration and application of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and associated geographical information systems (GIS) spatial analysis
• General understanding of watersheds, water quality, and climate change impacts
