About the Role
The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, execution, and financial performance of the Data Center construction project in Dallas, TX, from mobilization through closeout. This role ensures the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with DELCO quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the project from mobilization through final closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and cost forecasting activities.
- Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
- Coordinate with Preconstruction, Operations, Owners, Design Teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract negotiations, and scope management.
- Manage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, contingency management, and profitability.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while driving schedule and budget performance.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement tracking, and project documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, accountability, and problem resolution.
- Participate in strategic planning and operational discussions related to project execution and resource planning.
- Mentor and develop project management staff and support successful project closeout activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects preferred.
- Data center construction experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Experience leading complex construction projects involving multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and fast-paced schedules is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Proven success managing client relationships and leading project teams.
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- OSHA knowledge and a strong safety leadership mindset are required.
