Senior Project Manager - General Contractor
This role is hosted by Collin Walsh.
About Us
We’re a well-established commercial construction firm with nearly a century of experience delivering impactful projects — from healthcare facilities, educational institutions and corporate offices to cultural venues, hospitality, retail, data centers, and mission-critical installations. Our philosophy centers on sustainability, high-performance buildings, innovation through technology and virtual design, and a people-first culture built on safety, integrity, stewardship, and community. We take pride in being more than just builders — we aim to create environments that improve quality of life and support long-term value for clients and communities alike.
With a focus on quality over quantity work, we have founded our business on building deep relationships with our clients, team members, and subcontractors.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead major, complex construction projects — acting as the primary point of accountability from preconstruction through close-out. - Lead project teams and subcontractors (and internal self-perform trades when applicable), ensuring alignment with project goals, budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and sustainability objectives.
- Manage project budgets, cost reporting, change orders, value engineering, and risk mitigation to maintain financial performance.
- Serve as the main point of contact with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders — fostering transparent communication and strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality assurance, and sustainability standards.
- Mentor and guide junior project staff, fostering a collaborative, learning-oriented team environment.
- Promote and uphold company values such as safety, integrity, stewardship, diversity, partnership, and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field) — or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, including significant responsibility on large and/or complex commercial projects.
- Proven track record managing diverse project types (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, corporate, institutional, data center, retail, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, subcontractors, self-perform trades, architects/engineers, and consultants.
- Strong financial acumen: budget management, cost control, forecasting, and change-order management.
- Skilled in schedule development and management, with ability to navigate challenging site logistics and tight urban or campus settings.
- Familiarity with modern construction methods including BIM/VDC, lean construction, sustainable/high-performance building practices, and integrated project delivery when applicable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, client-relations, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, ethics, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
