Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for all stages of Solar-DG and/or Battery Storage projects.
- Develop and review project schedules, cost estimates, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, and subcontract documents.
- Supervise project implementation to ensure safety, cost, time, quality, and performance objectives are achieved.
- Competent and experienced in contract negotiations.
- Manage project resources (internal and external) and ensure professional project management through engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, commissioning, testing, and project turnover to O&M.
- Represent project towards external parties such as customers, investors, grid operators, and others.
- Responsibility and accountability for controlling project scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements
- Understanding of project management and project controls in an engineering and construction environment.
- Good understanding of engineering and construction documents and processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering and construction methodology and the associated financial aspects.
- Demonstrated understanding of cost estimating, scheduling, and budget projections.
- Professional attitude and presentation while representing the company.
- Independently overseen multi-million-dollar projects.
- Extensive work experience in management and completion of large-scale projects.
- Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and risk management skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Experience in all fiscal aspects of project management.
- Ability to handle all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Experience in dealing with a large and diverse number of problems, often simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work as part of a project management team.
- Ability to use software for project scheduling and tracking and other PC software applications commonly used for project management.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in permitting processes with local authorities having jurisdiction and authority.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate four-year degree in a technical area (project management, engineering, technology, sciences, or mathematics), or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Requires frequent (over 25% at times) overnight travel, may include auto, air, or rail travel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and strict timelines.
- Excellent decision-making, risk management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
- Strengths in time management, project development, follow-up, and execution.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of solar-DG and/or battery storage projects.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects: development, planning, installation, and execution.
- Experience in handling high-stress situations where tact and cooperation are crucial to cost-effective operation.
- Advanced understanding of internal sales process for both government and private sector opportunities.
- Advanced understanding of the technical, financial, and contractual aspects of the Distributed Generation business.
- Ability to work well with Business Development Managers and Engineers in the sales process to ensure success and fluent integration toward executed contracts for the Company.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction practices in solar retrofit/renovation applications obtained through demonstrated experience.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or working knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge.
