HNTB is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and infrastructure projects, including complex aviation, transit, government facilities, and other transportation initiatives. This role ensures successful project outcomes by managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, contractual requirements, and financial performance throughout all phases of project delivery—from pursuit and planning to design and closeout.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring project completion aligns with client expectations.
- Implement HNTB’s Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
- Develop project scope, fee quotations, and assist in proposal and contract preparation.
- Oversee and mentor less experienced project managers, coordinating work efforts and reviewing deliverables.
- Integrate quality management throughout all project phases.
- Manage project staffing across departments, offices, and divisions.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to achieve successful outcomes.
- Support business development efforts, including pursuits and proposals.
- Mentor project staff to foster professional growth and project delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field, or 20 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 16+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE).
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and infrastructure projects through all phases of delivery.
- Proven success in developing project workplans and managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and financial performance.
- Strong understanding of project controls, utilization management, earned revenue, and project profitability.
- Ability to proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, client management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering aviation facilities and airport infrastructure projects (transit, government facilities, transportation, and other infrastructure experience is beneficial).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop project managers and technical professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.
Location: Miami, FL. This is a full-time, regular position.
