Senior Project Manager

About the role

Audubon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Metairie, LA. This role is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of complex and/or large projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative; serve as the face of Audubon to the client.
• Create, execute, and revise project execution plans to meet client requirements and project metrics.
• Identify resources needed and manage team responsibilities.
• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
• Ensure all deliverables are reviewed, approved, and signed off prior to issue to the client.
• Ensure the project team follows Audubon standards and procedures.
• Review project transactions and report discrepancies on a weekly basis.
• Review and approve invoices within a 48-hour turnaround.
• Maintain resource planning for assigned projects.
• Manage the project budget and schedule.
• Remain accessible to the client throughout the project lifecycle, providing a single point of contact and ensuring timely processing of requests.
• Organize and direct a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of industry-related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
• Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
• Able to speak comfortably in a group setting.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• BS in Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 10 years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer, and/or Project Manager.
