Senior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage a team within our AZ branch, primarily supporting a confidential data center client. This role offers significant growth opportunities, potentially advancing into a director-level position.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety leadership
- Administer contracts
- Set up projects
- Coordinate and schedule site labor
- Manage budgeting and estimating
- Handle documentation, submittals, and O&M’s
- Coordinate purchasing and sub-contracts
- Track production
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance
- Control project costs and billing
- Forecast project costs to complete
- Manage project change orders
- Close out projects
- Facilitate internal and external communication
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in the semiconductor or data center industry
- Experience in electrical construction with an electrical contractor
- Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of medium-high voltage
- Experience in construction management and electrical engineering
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Procore, and Primavera
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience
- Strong management and human relations skills
- Financial analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors, and others
- Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Work Environment
The role is based onsite at a data center project, operating Monday through Friday with typical starting times around 6/7am. The position requires working 45-50 hours per week and is salaried. The main office is located in Mesa, AZ. A company vehicle or allowance, and a company phone or allowance, are provided. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Pay
The pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year.
