About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning Enterprise Digital Asset Management (EDAM/EDA), Claravine, taxonomy modernization, metadata governance, and Marketing Operations. This role will bring structure, accountability, and execution discipline to initiatives involving Marketing, Creative, Digital, Product, Analytics, Technology, and external vendors. The ideal candidate is a highly organized program/project leader who excels at stakeholder management, governance, risk mitigation, and driving decisions in complex or evolving environments. You will play a key role in establishing effective operating models, coordinating workstreams, improving digital asset management processes, and supporting organizational readiness for major releases and migrations.
Responsibilities
- Program & Project Management
- Lead day-to-day execution of EDAM, Claravine, taxonomy, metadata governance, and related Marketing Operations initiatives.
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and critical-path activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional work across Marketing, Creative, Digital, Product, Analytics, Technology, and vendor teams.
- Facilitate working sessions, steering committees, decision reviews, and stakeholder workshops.
- Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, resolve issues, and drive timely decision-making.
- Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and maintain centralized repositories for decisions, assumptions, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, business definitions, and taxonomy standards.
- Maintain RAID logs, decision logs, escalation paths, and executive status reporting.
- Develop stakeholder maps and define roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation processes.
- Drive alignment across teams and establish clear ownership for deliverables and decisions.
- Ensure impacted stakeholders understand program objectives, scope, responsibilities, and upcoming changes.
- Creative Operations
- Partner with Creative Services and business teams to prioritize requests, define deliverables, establish timelines, and drive accountability.
- Ensure creative work has clearly defined requirements, owners, milestones, and completion criteria.
- Track progress, identify dependencies, and proactively remove delivery obstacles.
- Taxonomy & Metadata Governance
- Support the development and adoption of metadata standards, taxonomy frameworks, asset naming conventions, and classification standards.
- Facilitate workshops to establish and document business terminology and taxonomy requirements.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals, governance decisions, and implementation readiness.
- Support digital asset lifecycle management and consistent asset organization across enterprise repositories.
- Change Management & Organizational Readiness
- Develop communication, training, adoption, and stakeholder readiness plans.
- Coordinate training materials, FAQs, stakeholder communications, and release-readiness activities.
- Assess organizational impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support business readiness for major platform releases, migrations, and process changes.
- EDAM Operational Remediation
- Develop execution plans for post-migration remediation and operational improvements.
- Coordinate cleanup and disposition of working files that should not reside within the enterprise digital asset management environment.
- Coordinate recovery activities related to Marketing Virtual Library access issues.
- Identify dependencies on legacy repositories and network drives and develop transition plans to approved repositories.
- Drive adoption of future-state asset management processes and operating models.

Required Skills/Education
- 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably supporting enterprise technology, marketing, digital, or creative operations initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects involving business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong project planning, execution, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with governance frameworks, RAID management, risk/issue management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
- Ability to document and manage business processes, workflows, operating models, and decision frameworks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both executive leadership and hands-on delivery teams.
- Demonstrated ability to establish accountability, clarify ownership, and drive decisions across multiple teams.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments and creating structure where processes are still being established.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager Assets (AEM Assets), EDA, or EDAM.
- Experience with Claravine or enterprise taxonomy/metadata management solutions.
- Background in Marketing Operations, Creative Operations, Digital Marketing, or Content Operations.
- Experience with metadata governance, taxonomy modernization, asset classification, and digital asset lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting enterprise migrations, remediation programs, or repository consolidation.
- Familiarity with change management, organizational readiness, training, and adoption programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
