About the Role

The Senior Project Manager leads large, complex projects across the hospital and affiliated ambulatory locations, managing multiple concurrent initiatives using Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies. This role ensures projects meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives while delivering operational, clinical, and financial value. The Senior Project Manager provides expertise in project execution, governance, and change management; applies EPMO standards and tools consistently; and supports less-experienced project managers through guidance and mentorship. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to influence stakeholders, resolve challenges, and navigate complex healthcare and technology environments. The role requires a hands-on, organization-wide approach, partnering across clinical operations, IT, quality, HR, finance, supply chain, and facilities to deliver cross-functional initiatives.

Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p; hours may vary as required to fulfill responsibilities and meet department needs.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience, including leading large, complex initiatives supporting hospital or healthcare delivery environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project required; experience with the project portfolio management tool ServiceNow SPM, highly desired.
  • Experience working within a structured PMO and working in project budget management required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives without direct supervisory authority.
  • Proficiency in PMI-aligned project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or other closely aligned certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to communicate across all organizational levels.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft tools; Visio, Teams, Power Point, Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
  • Experience working within ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management highly desired.
  • Experience managing healthcare technology and operational initiatives, including EHR, ERP, and integrated hospital systems.
