Senior Project Engineer - Site/Civil

Key Responsibilities

• Function as the primary point of contact for select clients, presenting technical solutions, maintaining client relationships, and driving new business development from existing clients.
• Lead the design team and approval process to secure all regulatory approvals and permits.
• Participate in the financial success of all projects.
• Adhere to the Firm's Quality Assurance and Quality Control policy and procedures on all projects.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
• Attend weekly work-load staff meeting to share work and ensure staff meets utilization goals.
• Continuously enhance the site civil practice by staying informed on industry trends, advancements, and best practices, while actively participating in industry networking events and organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the consulting industry working on projects for Economic Developers, Government/Municipal Agencies, Regional & National Retailers and Private Developers on Civil infrastructure and Site Plan projects.
• Extensive experience with civil/site design, permitting and management of private commercial developments, public County, City & Town roadways, water and sewer improvements projects.
• Professional Engineer License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and Teamwork skills.
• Public Presentation experience.
• Experience with obtaining Entitlements including Federal, State and Local regulatory approvals and permits.
• Expertise in State and Local site design standards and regulations.
• Thrives working in a fast paced Team environment.
• Excellent track record of financial success delivering projects on time and under budget.
• Experience with writing proposals.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Revit, WaterCadd, excel and Microsoft word.
